Registration is now open for another edition of the Algarve International Mountain Bike Marathon (MIBA), which takes place on September 30, in S. Bartolomeu de Messines, municipality of Silves.
Aiming to attract more participants and face the difficulties of the Portuguese, the big news this year is the low-cost registration fee, which can start at 5,90 euros.
Entries can be made on the event website (www.miba.pt), as well as useful information about routes, accommodation, restaurants, among others. This year, MIBA has three courses of 25 km, 50 km and 80 km.
Another novelty is the partnership established between Associação ExtremoSul and Bike Treino. With this partnership, upon registration and payment, the participant receives a detailed training plan in their email to help them prepare for participation in MIBA.
As in previous years, this eighth edition of the Mountain Bike Marathon, organized by the Associação ExtremoSul, allows not only to combine the spirit of adventure and competition associated with this type of event, but also to promote one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the Algarve.
This is an internationally recognized mountain bike marathon. Due to its high quality, this year came the invitation to join the National Marathon Championships at different levels, thus seeing the work developed over eight years recognized.
