Inês Crisóstomo, with the work “Ghost of the Bus” (Photography category), won the Excellence Prize of the ArteJovem@Portimão competition, whose awards took place on August 11 at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes.
The other winners were: Painting/Drawing – Joana Florêncio, with the work “Little Girl”; Sculpture/Installation – Júlio Sequeira, with the work “IF- Facultative Imposition”; Digital Illustration – Tiago Silva, with the work “Freedom”; Video/Direction – Veaceslav Tonu, with the work “The Horoscope”.
The ArteJovem@Portimão competition resulted from a challenge launched by the Municipality of Portimão to the creativity of young people in the Algarve between 18 and 35 years old, with 22 works having been received in this first edition.
The group exhibition ArteJovem@Portimão will be on display at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes until August 31st.
