IEFP: Publication of the name of the candidate to be hired was a "lapse" but it is "normal"

The Institute of Employment and Professional Training admitted today that the publication of the «name of the unemployed candidate presented by the employer» in the advertisement available on the NetEmprego Portal it was "a lapse", but clarified that the "situation is perfectly normal".

According to the IEFP, "the situation identified is perfectly normal, it fits into the procedures foreseen and stipulated for the job offers presented with the purpose of companies formalizing applications for the measure Estímulo 2012".

«The job offer with the number 587 847 025, for the profession of Kindergarten Educator (M/F), was presented by the Social and Parish Center Santa Maria (Tavira) under the Medida Estimulo 2012», adds the IEFP in the clarification published on your website.

In this context, and in accordance with the IEFP regulation of this Measure, disclosed on the IEFP portal and on NetEmprego, «the employer presented the indication of a candidate to fill that offer».

"In the present case, the entity had identified the unemployed person to be hired, so it proceeded with the respective presentation for the offer in question", and "the process of checking in relation to the candidate presented to meet the eligibility requirements of the Estímulo 2012 measure is in progress , which is why the job offer remained active on the Net Emprego portal».

The IEFP reinforces that “the name of the unemployed person presented by the employer should not have been shown, which happened by mistake”.

It would be just another job offer advertisement on the website of the Employment and Professional Training Institute (IEFP) if it did not contain at least unusual information: the name of the “candidate” previously chosen.

The announcement of a vacancy of “M/F Childhood Educator” for an institution in the parish of Santa Maria, in Tavira, presents as admission conditions a degree, that the candidate has been registered for more than six months in the Employment Center and also the curious phrase, under the heading «Other Knowledge»: «Only admit Vera Pereira».

It was a mistake made by the person who placed the ad online, which, incidentally, at around 9:40 am had already been removed and corrected as seen here.

This case, discovered by the Facebook page Algarve employment, is causing great controversy on social media and is already being the target of news in the media.
