Fernando Mendes and his team spend the summer at Tempo – Teatro Municipal de Portimão, where they are presenting 32 sessions of the fun show “mendes.come – 30 years of career”, which remains on stage until August 26, revisiting the best moments of a career full of hilarious moments.
The actor and comedian is accompanied by actress Cristina Areia, António Vaz Mendes, and vocalist Luís Portugal, formerly of “jafumega”, in a show whose tickets cost between 10 and 25 euros.
Born in Lisbon in 1963, Fernando Mendes has always lived on stage and inherited the rich legacy of his father, actor Vítor Mendes, having started early in the art world.
In November 1980, at the age of 17, he made his professional debut at the magazine “Reviravolta” on ABC, with Eugénio Salvador and Florbela Queiroz, and four years later he made his debut at RTP, where he achieved national notoriety, after which he developed a career uninterrupted, always growing that makes Fernando Mendes one of the most cherished artists by the Portuguese public.
After working recently at Olympia de Paris, one of the most emblematic venues in Europe, the popular presenter of the program “Preço Certo”, shown on RTP1, guarantees in Portimão a show full of laughter, joy, affection and fraternity, through a fun menu inspired by the theater of a magazine, a genre he likes so much.
Thus, every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, at 22 pm, and until August 00, Fernando Mendes and Cristina Areia take the stage for almost two hours of humor.
