On Sunday, August 12th, at 21 pm, the Cineclube de Tavira will organize another Auction of Cinema Posters, which will take place at the Cine-Teatro António Pinheiro, in the Baixa area of the city of Tavira.
According to those responsible for the Cineclube, the auction is intended to «raise funds to guarantee the continuity of our activities (pay the invoices…) for another month or two».
«If you like cinema, if you are looking to decorate your home in an original and economical way, or if you are looking for the ideal gift to give to your relatives, girlfriends or boyfriends, children or grandchildren, don't miss this event and ask for the list now (in format pdf) of the posters to be auctioned (national, American and French giants)», say the organizers.
The list can be requested via a message on the Facebook from the film club or by email [email protected].
Photos of some of the posters being auctioned are also available.
Those who are unable to be present at the auction (which will last just over 2 hours and, as usual, will be fun) can still bid.
«We accept bids by email or by phone. Please indicate the title(s) of interest and your maximum bid for each of the posters. Depending on the interest for the poster in question, it could be yours for less than its limit…», explains the Cineclube de Tavira.
