The city of Quarteira will host next Saturday, July 28, from 21 pm, the X FestÁfrica – Algarve African Music and Culture Festival, which takes place at Praça do Mar.
This initiative by APALGAR – PALOP Friendship Association in the Algarve, with the support of the Municipality of Loulé, aims to promote African culture in the Algarve, particularly in terms of music.
With strong roots in the Municipality of Loulé and in the Algarve region, the African community unites around this initiative that will show the best that exists in the PALOP. Several African music groups will promote their work at a party that is widely attended by communities in the parishes of Quarteira and Almancil.
This event is a proposal addressed simultaneously to the local African community, to the entire population of the region and to the group of national and foreign tourists who regularly flock to the Algarve.
Admission is free.
