Tavira City Council has just launched a solidarity campaign, by opening a bank account, where donations can be deposited to minimize the losses recorded and help families affected by the fire that affected the municipality between 18 and 21 July.

The municipality stresses that the municipality “was heavily affected by the scourge of fires, which devastated over 20 hectares of land, which represents more than a third of the municipality's area, with losses of homes, goods and animals being recorded. A loss of more than 10 million euros is estimated'.
The Chamber appeals "to the spirit of solidarity of all", adding that "together we will be able to revitalize the devastated heritage".
