Albufeira Municipal Market will be the scene of inspiration on the 27th of July, in yet another Algarve ignition. Albufeira will be the third Algarve city to join this movement of sharing personal and professional passions, which has provided relaxed evenings, rich in socializing and learning.
On the international channel, igniteshow.com, the Algarve already has 33 inspiring videos, alongside other places in the world, such as Paris, Liverpool, Las Vegas, Beijing, Sydney, Budapest, Seattle, Berlin, among many others.
The event, organized by a team of volunteers in partnership with the company Worklovers, is completely free and has other local partners who have added enormous value to the initiative.
Ignite Albufeira is co-organized by the City Council and has the usual support from Atelier Aqui Há Arte, the video agency iSpot Multimedia and the Multicopias printing center.
The original and informal format is also maintained: 16 speakers, each with only 5 minutes and 20 support slides rotating every 15 seconds, to infect the audience with ideas, experiences and challenges.
The themes are free to choose and proposed by the candidate speakers. For this new edition, applications for Speaker will be open until the end of June, on the website www.ignitealgarve.com.
The organization once again associates the event with a cause of social solidarity. This time, the help will be given to Associação Humanitaria Solidariedade Albufeira, an institution established in 1999 and which carries out a work of great importance, namely in supporting children, young people and the family; in social and community integration; and in the protection of citizens in old age and disability.
In this sense, all participants are asked to contribute with donations, essentially food, clothing, toys and hygiene products.
