Theater shows, “O Sonho de Mariana”, the baby's first book, and an exhibition under the responsibility of the Curriculum Enrichment Activities animate the program of the IX edition of Paginários – Páginas do Imaginário, which starts next Monday, the 28th of May, and runs until June 4th.
This edition of Paginários, which has as its motto the International Year of Renewable Energies, bets on the organization of the VIII School Theater Exhibition.
In total, six plays will be staged by young actors from different levels of education, from pre-school to secondary, with sessions scheduled for 10:30 and 14:00, at the Albufeira Municipal Auditorium.
The Escolar Theater Show is an initiative that has already enjoyed enormous success with the educational community. This year, six pieces are presented: “O Rio em Perigo” by ATL from Vale Parra, “A Sombra da Energia” by EB1 de Fontainhas, “O Planeta Azul?” from EB1 da Correeira, “The Forest has no Eyes, look at it!” by EB1 de Ferreiras, “Also the Stars are our home” by EB2,3 de Ferreiras and “A Terra está Doente” by the Theater Group of the 2nd cycle of EB2,3 Dom Martim Fernandes.
In parallel, there will be an exhibition with works carried out by students from the Curriculum Enrichment Activities that can be visited every day, in the foyer of the Auditorium and in the Paços do Concelho building until the last day of the event.
On June 2, the municipality will offer the book “O Sonho de Mariana”, a pillow for sleeping and a Guide containing advice for parents of babies born in Albufeira between April 2011 and May 2012.
