A Vila de Alcoutim is, for the third consecutive year, the place chosen to hold the Postgraduate Course in Diabetes, promoted by the Association for the Support of Diabetics of the Algarve (AEDMADA) and supported by the Municipality of Alcoutim.
The training will take place on the 15th and 16th of June, at the Guadiana River Hotel, and is aimed at general practitioners working in Baixo Alentejo and Algarve.
The course will give space to the dissemination of works carried out regionally in the field of Diabetology, as well as the involvement of General and Family Medicine in the subject.
On June 15, between 15:00 pm and 19:00 pm, AEDMADA will promote a screening, at the Alcoutim Nautical Center, for diabetes and sleep apnea, aimed at people over 35 years old.
