«Éconcerto» is the next initiative of the «SuperNova – explosion of events», scheduled for May 18, at 21 pm, at Antiga Lota de Portimão. According to its promoters, this is a concert that intends to be “more ecological”, with commercial/electronic music, with Dj Babylon, and dub step, with Kombo. Admission costs 00 euros.
«SuperNova – Explosion of Events» is an initiative of the students of the 12th N of the Technical Course on Event Organization at the Manuel Teixeira Gomes Secondary School, in Portimão, and is included in the respective Pedagogical Aptitude Tests (PAP). The projects are being presented throughout the month of May.
Students Carla and Eleonora, who promote the “Éconcerto”, explain that it is “a new concept that links issues of environment and fun. Currently, environmental issues are among the concerns of the public sphere. In the media, in schools, in newspapers, on the streets, in advertising campaigns, there is always an appeal for recycling».
In fact, they add, "garbage is a major concern for all of us today."
In this concert, Carla and Eleonora also explain, "we intend to draw the attention of young people to the amount of waste left in this type of event and call for a reduction through concrete actions, such as the use of a single glass per person throughout the concert" .
The «SuperNova – explosion of events» also foresees, on the 17th, the Birthday Party, of the Fun Club, at the Manuel Teixeira Gomes Secondary School, while on the 18th, there will be “Workdance”, a Hip Hop workshop, also at the ESMTG, and even the «ÉConcerto», in the Antiga Lota de Portimão.
The «SuperNova» continues on May 19, with «Psy Motion», at XL Bar, in Alvor, on the 21st, the Athletics Olympics, on the 22nd, the launch of the promotional film of an Extreme Sports company, and finally on the 23rd, a Futsal Tournament. These last three events will take place at the Secondary Teixeira Gomes.
