This afternoon, Portimonense managed to stay above the Liga Orangina relegation zone. The Algarve team drew against Oliveirense, away from home, by a ball, a result that left the Alvinegros one point above the waterline.

Lázaro Oliveira's team, which added the seventh consecutive game without defeats, even scored first, by Ricardo Pessoa, in the conversion of a penalty awarded to Lucas in the 39th minute.

However, three minutes later, the task of keeping the lead on the scoreboard became more complicated. Wakaso saw the straight red card and Portimonense was reduced to ten.

Early in the second half, in the 53rd minute, Oliveirense got the tie through Clemente, a goal that dictated the final result.

This tie leaves Portimonense in 14th place in the Liga Orangina with 31 points, one more than Sp. Covilhã and Freamunde, who continue in a descending position.

In the next round, Portimonense receives Trofense and, in the last game of the 2011/2012 season, there is a trip to Madeira to face União.
