This weekend, the children's teams from Portinado and Lagoa AC managed to qualify for the final phase of the National Water Polo Championship, in games that took place in the municipal swimming pools of Silves and Portimão, on the 27th and 28th of April.
In the first meeting of this tournament, held in Portimão, LAC beat Portinado by 8-6 (1-1; 3-1; 2-1; 2-3).
In the 2nd game, which took place in Silves, LAC lost to Sporting 13-8, leaving everything to decide in the last match in Portimão (Portinado-Sporting) and that the Portimão team would win 21-6 (5- 1; 8-1; 5-1; 3-4).
