The Museu do Trajo de São Brás de Alportel was the venue chosen for the 1st edition in the Algarve of the Ignite event on Friday, 23, between 19:00 pm and 23:00 pm, an initiative that challenges participants to take the stage and share your ideas in 5 minutes!
The challenge of this event, whose concept was born in the United States, is to share ideas in an innovative way: each speaker has 5 minutes and 20 slides to present their idea to the audience…and win! An achievement that aims to generate new synergies and motivate people to take action and carry out projects.
The power of communication and innovation, allied to the speakers' capacity for synthesis, are certainly some ingredients of this meeting, which already reveals some of the themes inscribed in São Brás de Alportel: “O Negoísmo”, “Local Dynamics”, “Fall in love with yours dream”, “Ideias Constructed”, “The magic of white paper”, among others.
With free entry, I Ignite Algarve joins the “Papel por Alimentos” solidarity campaign of the Food Bank Against Hunger, and invites all participants and speakers to “pay” their entry with recycled paper. For each ton of paper collected by the Quima company, 100 euros will be delivered in food items indicated by the Portuguese Federation of Food Banks.
