The first of four public assemblies on the Participatory Budget of Portimão takes place this Friday, March 30, and is scheduled for the building of the Parish Council of Portimão, where, from 18 pm onwards, citizens can present their ideas in a face-to-face manner.

To participate in participatory assemblies, interested parties must register in their parish councils or in the assembly itself, before the start of the work, with the possibility of doing so through the website of the process, in http://participa.cm-portimao.pt/

This is a unique opportunity for people to share what they would like to see carried out, what their ideas, projects or ambitions are to achieve in their land of affection.

The dates for the next participatory assemblies are as follows: Alvor – April 13th – 18:30 pm – Alvor Community Center; Mexilhoeira Grande – April 16th – 18:30 – Mexilhoeirense Instruction and Recreation Club; Portimão – 25th of April – 18:30 – Main Hall of Portimão City Hall.

By the beginning of this week, fifty users had already registered on the website of the Participatory Budget of Portimão and 19 ideas for the city had already been presented, just three weeks after the Chamber had Started bid submission phase.
