Poetry by João Brito de Sousa marks the beginning of spring at Leya no Pátio

Spring will bring with it Poetry, at Livraria Leya no Pátio, located in the cultural space Pátio de Letras, in Faro. This Saturday, the 24th, the book “O Teu Amanhã”, by the Algarve João Brito de Sousa, will be in focus and will be presented at 16 pm by Varela Pires.

This is the second work of poetry released by the poet from Faro, born in 1942, after the work «Sonetos Imperfeitos». The former primary school teacher is also an author of fiction, namely the books «Lucidez de Pensamento» and «Como se Likesse».

Now retired, João Brito de Sousa regularly contributes to regional newspapers, with chronicles of a social and political nature. He is also a member of the Confraternity of Poetry.
