Making known the mechanisms of Industrial Property and how the University can help entrepreneurs is the main objective of the event that CRIA – Division of Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer of the University of Algarve will promote on March 28, at NERA – Associação Business in the Algarve Region, in Loulé.

Registration for the «Open Day of Industrial Property», organized by the Support Office for the Promotion of Industrial Property (GAPI), included in CRIA, is now open and can be made until tomorrow, March 27th. Registration is free and can be done at www.cria.pt.

According to the organization, this event is carried out in the "follow-up of efforts to disseminate industrial property mechanisms and the annual program of dissemination and awareness on the subject."

This awareness-raising action aims to «promote and value the University/Company relationship, stimulating the regional business fabric towards the theme and directing, in a first phase, industrial property as an ally of entrepreneurial initiatives that can be generated either within the University or under the form of new products, services, projects or bets by companies in the Region».

The initiative has the support of the European I2TEP project, co-financed by the POCTEP program and with the collaboration of NERA, INPI, Clarke, Modet & C.º Portugal and YGREEN.
