An unexpected and exciting “flash-mob” of the professions was one of the initiatives promoted on the 19th, to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Professional Training Center of Faro (Areal Gordo), organic unit of the Regional Delegation of the Algarve of the IEFP.
The IEFP regional delegate Carlos Baía and the director of the João Neves Professional Training Center were present at the event commemorating the date.
Both took the opportunity to talk about the importance of professional training in the current context of demand and possible ways to solve the employment problem, such as entrepreneurship and some IEFP measures that facilitate insertion into the labor market, such as Professional Internships and the recent Estímulo 2012 measure.
In front of an audience of around 250 people, including trainees, trainers and employees, the animation was in charge of the EFA course (Education and Training of Adults) of Socio-Cultural Animation, which carried out various initiatives, including the “flash- mob” of professions, which illustrated the various professions to which the Training Center has contributed for ten and a half years.
In 2011, the Professional Training Center of Faro covered 5.417 trainees, promoting professional training from Albufeira to Vila Real de Santo António.
