Due to the lower demand, from this Thursday, March 1st, the frequency of night and weekend connections from Vai e Vem – Urban Circuit of Portimão will be reduced on almost all lines. According to the Municipality of Portimão, the measure is intended to “guarantee the efficiency of available resources”.

«The measure is directly associated with the analysis of data for last year, in which, in the average demand on Saturdays, there was a reduction of around 11 percent compared to that registered on a working day, while on Sundays this data represented 8,7 less, XNUMX percent turnout», adds the municipality.

In this sense, and according to each specific case, the coming and going times will be changed on lines L1, L2, L2N, L3, L4, L5, L7, L8, L9, L10, L10N, L11, L12, L13, L14, L15 and L16, with line L17 remaining unchanged, whereas, on line L6, with the elimination of ferry connections between Portimão and Funchal, Vai e Vem ceases to stop on Sundays at Porto de Cruzeiros.

All changes that take effect this Thursday, the 1st, can be consulted at www.cm-portimao.pt.
