Young people from Tavira will be the protagonists of the dance show «Pickles com Chocolate», choreographed by Ana Borges, which will be today, Saturday, at the António Pinheiro cinema, at 21 pm.
The show, presented by «corpodehoje», was born in 2010, within the scope of the Saúd'Arte project, in partnership with Associação Uma Porta Amiga. At the entrance, a solidarity fee is charged starting at 3 euros to attend this “inclusion through dance” initiative.
Also today, but at the Ermida de São Sebastião, in Tavira, from 18 pm, the «Duo Cantabile» will perform, with the voice of the soprano Isobel Reis, accompanied on the piano by Luís Conceição. This initiative is carried out within the scope of the cycle “Música nas Igrejas”, organized by the Chamber of Tavira, with the artistic direction of the Academy of Music of Tavira.
This is a concert dedicated to the civic movement Tavira Ilimitada against racism and xenophobia, according to a note from the movement, and features arias by renowned composers.
