The 19th edition of the Algarve Women's Football Cup international tournament (Algarve Cup) will take place from February 29th to March 7th, in several stadiums in the Algarve, with the participation of some of the most accredited women's football teams worldwide.
This tournament is organized by the Portuguese Football Federation, the Federations of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, in partnership with the Football Association of the Algarve (AFA), and with FIFA, which is holding, at the same time, a training workshop on arbitration with the presence of more than fifty referees from all over the world.
This year, in addition to Portugal, teams from Germany, China, Denmark, United States, Hungary, Iceland, Japan, Norway, Wales, Republic of Ireland and Sweden are participating in the Algarve Cup.
The games are free to enter.
