The municipal company Futurlagos is going to launch the public tender for the Concession for the Management and Operation of the Covered Car Park on the Frente Ribeirinha and the Charged Parking Zones on public roads.
The tender is intended for the signing of a management, operation and maintenance contract, under a public service concession, for 450 parking spaces in the Parque Coberto da Frente Ribeirinha and 753 charged parking spaces on the public road, in Lagos, totaling 1203 places.
The concession starts on the date indicated in the respective contract and ends in December 2050.
According to the general conditions now approved, and with regard to payment for the operation, the concessionaire must pay the contracting authority a global fixed rent amount corresponding to an amount of not less than 30 million euros. There will also be a right to an advance of no less than 12,5 million.
The competition criteria are divided into two phases: prior qualification and adjudication.
The first ones relate to the financial and technical capacity of the competitors, while the award criterion refers to the most economically advantageous proposal, taking into account the price to be presented.
The Municipal Council will now submit the authorization request to the Municipal Assembly, so that the Municipal Company can start the respective tender procedure.
