Lagoa will host, between February 20th and 25th, the 9th Mediterranean Junior Men's Championship, in handball, which will take place in two sports halls in the city.
In addition to Portugal, the under-18 men's teams from Spain, Italy, Greece, Libya, Qatar, Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey and Montenegro also participate.
The games will take place at the Jacinto Correia Municipal Pavilion and at the Jacinto Correia School Pavilion, both in the city of Lagoa, with free entry.
The event calendar, organized by the Mediterranean Handball Confederation, Lagoa City Council, Portuguese Handball Federation (FAP) and Kebrostress, will be released soon, but all matches taking place in the municipal pavilion will be broadcast live online on the federation's website.
