“For the full Maturity of the New Man in Christ – The Sacraments of Christian Initiation” is the theme of the next Journeys of Liturgical Pastoral of the Diocese of Algarve, which will take place in Ferragudo, next January 14, between 9:30 am and 17:30 pm .
Three reflections will be made on the themes "The Ritual of Christian Initiation for Adults", "The Catechumenate - Process of Christian Initiation and Restart" and "The Sacraments of Christian Initiation", with a Mystagogical Celebration also taking place during the meeting. on the theme, that is, a moment of contemplation of the Sacraments of Christian Initiation (baptism, confirmation and Eucharist), with songs and reading of biblical and catechetical texts.
These Days are intended, essentially, for all those who exercise some liturgical ministry, for catechists involved in the preparation of lay people for baptism and who work with groups of adults, although any other catechist may participate.
The action arises as a response to a challenge present in the pastoral program of the Diocese, seeking to provide tools and strategies for the people who work in parish catechesis, so that they can, using new languages and means, continue their work of promoting values of the Catholic Faith.
Registration for the meeting is free.
The following day, January 15, in the same space, starting at 10:00 am and ending at 13:00 pm, there will be a meeting addressed only to the Extraordinary Ministers of the Communion and Animators of assemblies waiting for the Presbyter.
