A total of 88 vehicles have already been removed from the public road in Faro, since July last year, while another 93 are still in the process and 104 were filed because the owner responded to the notification and removed his vehicle from the public road, or simply because the owner moved his vehicle to another street.

This action of removing abandoned vehicles from the streets of Faro it has been going on since the council of the Algarve capital signed a protocol with the company Ambitrena.

However, the municipality appeals "to all citizens to continue to inform about the location of vehicles that are abandoned", as the Chamber says it is their "desire for a cleaner and more organized city".

For the City Council, «this service is of utmost importance in order to obtain a correct and dignified environmental policy for the city of Faro».
