The Querença Project has just presented its first activities and events catalog, for January and February, under the motto “Wanting”.

The catalogue, which is available online and can be calmly browsed by those interested, presents the proposals of the Querença Project in the area of ​​Courses and Workshops, Nature and Culture.

With regard to Courses and Workshops, the proposals go through the workshop on Domestic Composting, with Cátia Guerreiro, scheduled for Saturday, the 21st, from 15 pm to 18 pm, by wild mushroom observation and identification course, which will take place on the 28th and 29th of January, under the guidance of Norberto Santos.

There will also be a course on Free Tools for the new Digital Cartography, by Nuno Loureiro (18 and 19 February), as well as a workshop on Biological Agriculture with António Rosa (25 February).

As for Nature, in addition to the walk between Querença and Barranco do Velho, which took place last Saturday, the 14th, there will also be the return walk, Barranco do Velho-Querença, which, because of the rain, was postponed to next Sunday , on the 22nd. The meeting point will be at 8:30 am at the Manuel Viegas Guerreiro Foundation in Querença. At the end of the walk, participants will have the opportunity to visit the Festa das Chouriças in Querença. Those interested should register by e-mail [email protected].

An Active Day in Querença is scheduled for February 12, which includes mountain biking and hiking, but also some surprises.

The activities catalog also presents proposals in the area of ​​Culture. Thus, the first activity will be the 28th anniversary concert of the Ensemble de Flutes at the Center for Artistic Expression of Loulé, scheduled for January XNUMX, at the Igreja Matriz, with free admission.

On February 11th, it will be the turn of the presentation of the book «Portugal a Pé», by its author, journalist Nuno Ferreira, who, for more than a year, traveled the country from one end to the other, from Sagres to Minho.

The professor at the University of Algarve António Covas, head of the Querença Project, on the 29th of February, will present his book «A Europa Federal ea Quarta República Portuguesa».
