About three dozen actors from São Brás de Alportel will take to the stage on the next 10th and 11th to give life to the show VALE, a contemporary dance spectacle composed of eight dancers, six musicians and actors from São Brás, who step for the 1st time The stage.
Promoted by the Movimenta-te Project – Trajectories of Cultural Programming in Network, constituted by the municipality of São Brás de Alportel, Faro, Loulé, Olhão and Tavira, this project aims to involve cultural agents and the population in creative processes.
This process of artistic creation brought to São Brás de Alportel the play “A kiss…another kiss…another kiss…”, the new circus “Les Etoiles” and now continues with a unique show “VALE”, starring the healthy audience -brasense.
Over the next 10th and 11th, Saturday, at 21:30 pm and Sunday at 16:00 pm, the Cine-Teatro São Brás unveils the result of several days of rehearsals by the production and the approximately 30 selected participants from São Brás.
This challenge launched to the general population includes participants from 6 to 65 years of age and invites them to live in the 1st person the experience of going from spectator to actor, getting to know the backstage, stepping onto the stage and being part of the show.
According to the organization, in this show the “Movements of the dance code meet with gestures and actions of everyday life that come from the land. The movement choir, which is worked on in this piece by people with no performative experience, challenges the dancers and evokes what is universal and extraordinary in non-verbal communication: the sensual, telluric and affective value of the bodies that, when writing in space and together, movements of a disconcerting simplicity open up to a possible and profound reading of the human condition and the condition of the times in which we live.”
O Vale is a production of Madalena Victorino, with music by Carlos Bica and has a duration of 75 minutes. Tickets for the show are available at the Municipal Gallery of São Brás de Alportel, or on the day of the show, at the Cine-Teatro box office, on the 10th, from 20:30 pm and on the 11th, from 15:00 pm.
