The new Toys 'R' Us pop-up store in Albufeira, Algarve, the brand's first presence in the south of the country, opens on Friday, November 11th. Located in Albufeira Retail Park and with 655 square meters, this store creates 30 direct jobs in the region (and ten indirect ones).
In addition to being the brand's first store in the South of the country, it is also the first space in Portugal with the pop-up concept, that is, a temporary store, which will only be open until the 7th of January.
Paulo Sousa Marques, head of Toys 'R' Us in Portugal, explains that “we've been looking for a suitable location in this part of Portugal for a long time and now that we've found it, this opportunity arose to open a pop-up store, which was an experience in the USA and in different European countries and we want to extend to Portugal”.
The first Toys 'R' Us pop-up store in Portugal will feature exclusive branded products and “a wide variety of toys at the best price, as is the brand's philosophy”, the first toy store chain in the world.
