The film Cerroma major by Luís Filipe Rocha, based on the homonymous work by Manuel da Fonseca, will be screened on the 8th, at 16:30 pm, at the Amphitheater 0.5 of the Pedagogical Complex of the Campus da Penha of the University of Algarve (Faro), with the presence of the director being foreseen.
This work addresses the aesthetic and sociocultural contexts of the two works, marking the centenary of the birth of the writer, one of the greatest figures in Portuguese literary neorealism.
This session is part of the teaching activities of the disciplines of “Media Literacy”, of the Communication Sciences Course, and of “Communication and Contemporaneity, of the Masters in Communication, Culture and Arts.
It is a joint initiative of the Department of Communication, Arts and Design (ESEC) and the Department of Arts and Humanities (FCHS) and is open to the entire academic and local community.
