On November 16, 17 and 18, in the foyer and bar of the Cine-Teatro Louletano, the exhibition Carta Choreográfica is presented. This is a pedagogical exhibition that will be accompanied by guided tours for schools and organized groups.

This initiative included in “Movimenta-te – Trajectories of Cultural Programming in Network” intends to provide an experimental moment for visitors/participants. What this letter proposes is a visit to a group of bodies, with ages, in different situations and conditions, through the language of photography, painting and drawing that celebrate their existence. For this celebration, a large map with nine panels was created. Each of them illuminates a point of view about the body.

Guided tours will be carried out by dancer Susana Gaspar. Each visit lasts approximately one hour.

Applications for schools and the general public can be made by calling 289 400 820.

“This exhibition is like a letter. A letter written to you. This card wants to wake you up to the expressive and transforming power your body has. The body carries with it senses hidden behind its movements, gestures, postures and looks.

Whatever the context, the body always reveals parts of its identity, its personality, its condition and its secrets. All these aspects complete and reveal each other in the journey through life. This walk of each one composes in the population as a whole a giant human landscape in movement, through time and space.

The body speaks without having to use words. Do not lie. Non-verbal communication is therefore a powerful source of knowledge. A rich, mysterious and open source. Help us to read each other between the lines of spoken words.

What this letter proposes is a visit to a group of bodies, with ages, in different situations and conditions, through the language of photography, painting and drawing, which celebrate their existence. For this celebration, a large map with nine panels was created. Each of them illuminates a point of view about the body. Here, the conviviality of the choreographic reading of this letter is launched».
