The municipality of Aljezur, will present on November 11, at 17:30 pm, at the Salão Nobre dos Paços do Concelho, the nº 5 of its cultural magazine – Al-Rihana.

This issue has on its cover an image of the tapestry by Severo Portela Júnior, which evokes the “incorporation of Almada into the Portuguese Crown by King Dom Dinis through a bark letter granted on December 1, 1297”.

In this edition, the couple of archaeologists Rosa Varela Gomes and Mário Varela Gomes edit an article on “Archaeological work in the Torre de Odeceixe – the first results (2007-2009), Miguel Carvalho Roxo talks about “Aljezur and Igreja Nova: A Morphological Reading ”, Ruy Ventura publishes the article “Towards a toponymic chart of the Aljezur Region”, and José Antonio de Jesus Martins presents the theme “D.
