The senior squad of Portimonense Sporting Clube visited the premises of CRACEP – Cooperative for Re-education and Support for the Exceptional Child of Portimão.
In addition to being well received by everyone, from employees, teachers and its chairman of the board Maria de Lurdes Gouveia, players, technical staff and managers of Portimonense were confronted with all the sympathy of exceptional children and young people.
The members of Portimonense also highlight the fruits of CRACEP's entire work, «marked by commitment, an attitude that has remained since its foundation», the result of the initiative of a group of parents supported by the Municipality of Portimão and the local Rotary Club.
Invited to understand a «different life prism», the players and the rest of the Portuguese delegation claim to have understood, «perfectly, the meaning of those children and young people being equal to all of us».
«It was a lesson for everyone», concludes the club.
