On October 28, the Cine-Teatro Louletano receives a group of personalities linked to the areas of culture and heritage who will debate the theme “Cultural Heritage – A new Convention of the Council of Europe for the XNUMXst Century”.

Daniel Thérond, head of the Division of Cultural Heritage and Landscape of the Council of Europe and deputy director of Culture and Cultural and Natural Heritage (Strasbourg), will be one of the speakers at this conference.

Dag Myklebust, Senior Adviser, Directorate for Cultural Heritage, from Oslo (Norway), and José María Ballester, president of the jury of the European Union Heritage Awards/Europe Nostra Competition, are the other personalities from the European scene who will come to Loulé.

Among national names, will be present Guilherme d'Oliveira Martins, president of the National Culture Center, Cláudio Torres, archaeologist and president of the Mértola Archaeological Field, João Guerreiro, rector of the University of Algarve, the writer Lídia Jorge, and the president of the Autarchy by Loulé Seruca Emidio.
