«A Vida é Bela» already sells Albufeira in the Iberian Peninsula

More than 150 accommodation, restaurant, Spa and adventure experiences, created exclusively for Albufeira, were launched by the brand «A Vida é Bela», last Friday, and are available in 1500 establishments in the Iberian Peninsula.

Albufeira thus became the first municipality to develop this partnership with the leading national company in the promotion and marketing of tourism and leisure products. Like the other «Vida é Bela» ranges, the gifts from Albufeira are sold in an exclusive package, with a voucher and an experience guide.

The «Hotels in Albufeira» package offers 40 accommodation alternatives for 74,90 euros, while the «Best of Albufeira» brings together 110 experiences of the most diverse activities – adventure, gourmet or spa and can be purchased for 49,90 euros.

The products are already on the market at more than 1500 points of sale spread across the Iberian Peninsula. In Portugal, they can be found in the brand's network of kiosks in the main shopping centers, Fnac, Worten, CTT, Bertrand, Pingo Doce, El Corte Inglês, and Media Markt.

The presentation of the two packages «Hotels in Albufeira» and «Best of Albufeira» resulting from the partnership between the municipality and the company «A Vida é Bela» took place in the main hall of the local Town Hall and was attended by businessmen.

"This project is an innovative way for the council to provide business opportunities for local economic agents, with an emphasis on the entire Iberian market, as this company leads the national market and has a significant share throughout Spain", stated the mayor by Albufeira Desidério Silva.

In a partnership that will promote the municipality's tourist heritage and foster a regular channel of relationship with economic agents, Desidério Silva believes that «the placement of tourist products and services linked to Albufeira in all the company's sales points will contribute to the dissemination and enhancement of the destination and all the partners involved».

In turn, seasonality will fade as most of the experiences will be offered outside the high season.

According to Margarida Reis, Marketing Director «A Vida é Bela», «Albufeira is an excellent bet for the launch of this segment, as it represents the region well by bringing together 33 percent of the number of hotel establishments in the Algarve, 42 percent of the capacity of accommodation in the Algarve and 15 percent of the national total (including Madeira), 45 percent of the total overnight stays in the Algarve and 16 percent of the country's total».

With exclusive partnerships with the municipality of Albufeira, which represents a significant share of the Algarve's tourism offer, these gifts offer a wide range of suggestions at attractive prices. «Life is beautiful» is responsible for prospecting, attracting and negotiating with partners, as well as for marketing it through the brand's own channels.
