Minister of Internal Administration presides over the celebrations of Professional Firefighter's Day in Loulé

The Minister of Internal Affairs Miguel Macedo travels to Loulé, on September 11, to preside over the ceremony to commemorate the National Day of the Professional Firefighter which, in this fourth edition, will be staged at Praça da República.

The initiative starts at 15 pm, with the general graduation made up of professional firefighters from all over the country. Two companies, totaling 300 men, will be at the ceremony, the Pelotão de Guiões representing the Portuguese professional firefighters and the Band of the Regiment of Sapadores Bombeiros de Lisboa.

At 16:30 pm, Miguel Macedo is expected to arrive, who will be received by the president of the Loulé Seruca Emídio City Council and by the president of the National Association of Professional Firefighters Fernando Curto.

The program also includes the signing of protocols, "the delivery of the Medal of Merit of the National Association of Professional Firefighters to the Loulé mayor and the awarding of decorations to professional and retired firefighters," explained the Chamber of Loulé in a press release. The interventions will take place at 18:XNUMX.

The celebrations of the National Day of the Professional Firefighter end with a dinner at the Municipal Fire Brigade of Loulé.
