The 2011/2012 season of Tempo – Teatro Municipal de Portimão begins this Friday with the presentation of the first part of the cycle “A Solo”, starring accordionist Celina da Piedade and actress Lídia Franco.
From 22:00 on Friday, September 16, good music returns to the Café Concerto with Celina da Piedade, accordionist and singer who recently participated in the Eurovision Festival with Men from Luta, and who will present a varied repertoire in this concert. from his compositions, to themes from popular songs, passing through sounds from different parts of the world.
Tickets cost two euros and are on sale at the Tempo ticket office until Thursday, from 14:00 to 19:00, and on Friday from 14:00 to 21:30.
On September 17, at 21 pm, in the Grande Auditorio do Tempo, the theater play “Oscar and Senhora Cor-de-Rosa” will be on stage. which has as protagonist Lídia Franco, an unavoidable name in theatre, cinema and television.
It is a monologue based on a text by playwright Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, staged by Marcia Haufrecht, which tells the story of the friendship between a child with leukemia and Senhora Cor-de-Rosa, a volunteer in the pediatric ward.
Tickets cost ten euros, with the usual discounts, and can be purchased at the Tempo ticket office until Thursday from 14 pm to 00 pm and on Friday and Saturday from 19 pm to 00:14 pm.
But the actress's visit to Portimão is not just for the theater play and on Sunday, the 18th, between 15 pm and 00 pm, Lídia Franco will lead the theater masterclass “A arte do Actor”, where she will share her knowledge of art representation acquired over a recognized career, which began with dance and extended to theatre.
Entries can be made at the Tempo ticket office until next Saturday, with a maximum limit of 15 participants. The price is 10 euros, and the starting point for this masterclass will be the piece presented the night before.
The cycle “A Solo” is presented this month in women's and will continue in men's during the first quarter of 2012, with two prominent names also in the area of music and theater.
