On the 18th of September, the Oficina do Espador at the Municipal Theater of Portimão (Tempo) proposes a Theater Masterclass with actress Lídia Franco. 

After the Contemporary Dance Workshops oriented by Daniel Cardoso and Peter Michael Dietz that took place this year in Tempo, the Espetador Workshop continues to work on the idea of ​​the body, the starting point of the 2011 educational project programming. 

The workshop, called "The Actor's Art", will take place in the Tempo rehearsal room and will run from 15:00 pm to 18:00 pm, and is aimed at people over 16 years old.

Registration costs 10 euros and can be made until September 17, at the Tempo ticket office. 

Lídia Franco is an unavoidable name in theatre, cinema and television. In this masterclass, you will share some of your knowledge of the art of acting, based on solid professional training that began with dance and extended to theatre, namely the domain of the Actor's Studio Method (Lee Strasberg), which serves as its basis in construction of the characters that gives body and voice.

Lídia Franco took the Ballet course at the Teatro Nacional de S. Carlos school and was awarded a scholarship in Paris. He attended the Conservatory of Ballet in Brussels and then joined the Companhia Portuguesa de Bailado. This was followed by the Experimental Ballet Group of the Gulbenkian Foundation and the Theater Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels, directed by Maurice Béjart.

She began her training as an actress with a scholarship in Paris, followed by a course in Theater at the British Theater Association in London.
He studied with masters such as Suso d'Amico, Marcia Haufrecht, Polina Klimovitskaia, Lee Breuer, Howard Soenklar, Patti Bradshaw, among others.

In theater he worked with several directors, including Carlos Avilez, Maria do Céu Guerra, João Mota, Xosé Blanco Xil, Ana Tamen, Edward Phillips, Jorge Silva Melo, Marcia Haufrecht and Beatriz Batarda.

Film directors include Manoel de Oliveira, João César Monteiro, António da Cunha Telles, António Pedro Vasconcelos, Joaquim Sapinho, João Canijo, João Botelho, Ivo Ferreira, Christien Binet, Frank Apprederis, Phillipe Clair, Michel Serrault, Christien Jacques , Robert Mazoyer, Jacques Webber, Alain Tanner and Celan Jones, among others.
