Members and fans of Boca Juniors who live in Portugal come together at Monte Gordo

Boca Juniors is one of the main clubs in South America, where players like Maradona, Riquelme and Tevez have played

The second Boca Juniors Portugal Consulate, which brings together supporters of this Argentine club who live in our country, will celebrate its 2nd anniversary with a get-together, from the 26th to the 28th of May, in Monte Gordo (Vila Real de Santo António). 

The event will feature activities for the whole family over three days, "seeking to bring our club's culture closer to Algarve gastronomy and culture", says the organization.

The objective is to «create synergies and a culture of proximity with its Boca Juniors members and supporters who are living outside the Republic of Argentina».

Among the activities is a convivial game between some of the members of the veteran team of Beira-Mar de Monte Gordo and Boca Juniors members and supporters participating in the event, a banderazo next to Praça Marquês de Pombal (Vila Real de Santo António) and a party aboard a pleasure boat on the Guadiana River.

This year, several Consulates from Spain and Denmark will visit, namely the Boca Juniors Mallorca Consulate, from Almeria, from Alicante, from Gipuzcoa, from Malaga, from Barcelona, ​​from the Basque Country and from Denmark, foreseeing the visit of more of 40 people coming from abroad for the three days of the event.
