Hundreds of people celebrated the 1st of May yesterday, in Ribeira de Odeleite (Castro Marim), with the music of Jorge Guerreiro and the traditional sardinhada.
Ribeira de Odeleite is one of the most sought after places in the territory to spend Labor Day and this year was no exception.
The dance was in charge of Jaime Gomes and the animation continued with the performance of the group “Pérolas do Gilão”, ending with a concert by Jorge Guerreiro. At the same time, there was a Mercadinho, selling handicrafts and local and regional sweets.
The 1st of May celebrations in Odeleite were organized by the Parish Council of Odeleite, Municipality of Castro Marim and the Social Association of the Parish of Odeleite.
