Portimonense lost 4-2 to Boavista, in a match for the 18th round of the First Football League, played this Sunday, January 29, at Estádio do Bessa.

In a balanced first half, the first chance worthy of the name came only in the 25th minute.

Nakamura cleared a cross, but the ball fell to Salvador Agra who could have opened the scoring in favor of Boavista.

In the same minute, the checkered team had another chance, in a good shot by Mangas that forced the Portimonense goalkeeper to a tight defense.

At 28', the best opportunity of the first half happened. Camara shot at Nakamura's goal post.

If the first part was marked by some monotony, the second was rich in reasons of interest.

In the 50th minute, Yusuphua opened the scoring, with a header in the small area, after an excellent cross by Malheiro.

Boavista needed little time to extend the lead: at 52', and after a quick counterattack, Nakamura punched the ball badly and it was left to Bruno who shot it into the back of the net.

Despite the 2-0 in cupboard, Portimonense managed to react almost immediately. Moufi, with a header, scored a great goal, at 55'. In 10 minutes, there were three goals at Bessa…

And there would be more to see.

At 75', the Algarve-born Mangas, born in Olhão, scored Boavista's third goal, in a shot from the edge of the area with no chance for the Portimonense goalkeeper.

The chess players scored the fourth a short time later, with Yusuphua scoring twice in the match, in a move in which he was isolated only with Nakamura in front (81').

The count would be closed at 83'. Paulo Estrela kicked at the edge of the area, the ball deflected off Abascal and betrayed Bracali.

4-2, another defeat by Portimonense and the crisis of results continues (since November, the Algarve have not won in the I Liga).

Paulo Sérgio's team is in 12th place, with 20 points, 7 above the waterline.
