Pinheiro e Rosa students heard the Bodyboard World Champion talking about the Ocean

Session organized by the Professional Course for Rescue Technicians in Aquatic Environments

The Pinheiro e Rosa Secondary School in Faro, hosted BodyBoard World Champion Joana Schenker; on the 23rd of November.

The event was organized by the Professional Course for Rescue Technicians in Aquatic Environments (TSSMA) from the Pinheiro e Rosa School Group in Faro, who invited the athlete to talk about her professional sports career and, at the same time, addressed important topics such as the Ocean and its threats.

Students from professional courses for Sports Technicians, Civil Protection and others with an interest in this subject were present.

At the end of the session, students were left with notions about «how they can be responsible agents to improve the health of the ocean, starting at home and in their behavior».
