Navy seizes 45 kg of drugs in the sea south of Vila Real de Santo António

NRP Hidra is on standby in the Southern Maritime Zone

The Portuguese Navy's speed boat Hidra detected and collected a bale, with about 45 kg of hashish, and several jerricans that were adrift south of Vila Real de Santo António.

This collection took place during a patrol action in maritime spaces under national jurisdiction in the Southern Maritime Zone.

The NRP Hidra is on standby in this Maritime Zone and has a garrison of 8 soldiers.
