The third edition of the Transfrontier Contemporary Art Fair will take place, from the 27th to the 30th of January, at the Centro Olontense de Arte Contemporânea (CODAC), in Gibraleón, Spain, bringing together 14 artists, seven Portuguese and seven Spanish.

The aim of this initiative is to «put in dialogue the works of artists on both sides of the Guadiana river border, in a combination of visual arts and photography». The fair will also allow «the commercialization of the exhibited works».

Other artistic manifestations are associated with this fair, namely music, poetry, cinema and literature, «in a program that is intended to be diversified».

If the second edition took place entirely in online mode, with the city of Tavira as a reference, for this one it is planned to return to face-to-face mode, taking into account the health protocols in accordance with Spanish regulations to mitigate the contagions of Covid-19.

The fair is organized by the Asociación de Amigos de la Fundación Olontia and the Association and Nucleus of Photographers of the Algarve (A|NAFA), which are joined by the Câmara de Tavira, the Ajuntamento de Gíbraléon and the Diputación Provincial de Huelva, in neighboring Andalusia.
