João Fernandes, president of the Algarve Tourism Region (RTA), and Margarida Flores, Social Security director of the District Center of Faro, will participate in a online debriefing session on the simplified lay-off regime, aimed at entrepreneurs in the regional tourism sector. This session is scheduled for April 29, at 10:00 am.
The clarification session will have the theme “Extraordinary Measure to Support the Maintenance of Employment Contracts (Layoff): Synopsis of the legal framework and submission instructions”.
The initiative, explains the RTA, “results from the collaboration between both entities in the scope of mitigating the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the regional economy and aims to frame the lay-off regime and clarify doubts of the Algarve tourist trade in the submission of requests to the Social Security'.
The session will be held through the RICOH video collaboration platform “UCS Advanced”, with the technical support of the Algarve company HPZ.
