The book “Temporarily Rector”, by António Branco, is presented this Friday, December 13, at 21 pm, at FNAC Forum Algarve, in Faro.
The work, by the former dean of the University of Algarve, will be presented by Bruno Inácio and Gonçalo Duarte Gomes.
“Transitoriamente Rector” brings together the most significant public interventions by the author during the period in which he held the position of top head of UAlg.
For the book, 53 texts were selected, resulting from interventions and public speeches, in official ceremonies of the University, promoted by the Academic Association or by other external entities, lectures, other articles for UAlg publications.
Among them, there is the speech of António Branco's inauguration in 2013 or the one made at the ceremony to award the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Professor António da Nóvoa.
This book was co-edited by the University of Algarve and the publisher Sul, Sol e Sal, as part of the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the Algarve Academy.
