Anjos, Gipsy Kings, Cantadores do Alentejo and The Black Mamba will give music to another edition of the Festas da Vila de Mértola, which starts this Saturday, June 15th, and continues until the 23rd.
The Guadiana pier and the historic center of the town are once again the setting for another edition of Festas da Vila, which has a program «filled with entertainment, with several concerts, sporting events, an edition of “À Noite no Mercado” , an exhibition of local artists at Casa das Artes Mário Elias and the traditional sardine on the Guadiana quay, offered by the City Council», according to the municipality of Mertole.
As far as concerts are concerned, the first will take place this Saturday, at 22 pm, and will be performed by Cantadores do Alentejo, in the Igreja Matriz square.
On the 21st, it will be the Angels' turn to perform, at the Guadiana pier, at 23 pm. It will be at the same place and at the same time as Gipsy Kings, on the 00nd, and The Black Mamba, on June 22rd. The three concerts are followed by traditional balls.
The Vila de Mértola Festivals are organized by the City Council with the collaboration of the Vale do Guadiana Entrepreneurs Association, Alsud – Professional School, Port Authority of Vila Real St. António, Guadiana Football Club, Mértola Nautical Club, Sport Fishing Club 'Os Amigos do Guadiana', S.
