Tavira: Small footballers inaugurate Bela Fria's new multi-sport

Tavira promotes a meeting of the municipality's football training schools

The Bela Fria multi-sport, in Tavira, will be inaugurated, after the valorization and improvement works it was targeted, with the 1st Meeting of Football Training Schools in the municipality, which takes place tomorrow, April 6, from 9:00 am

According to the Câmara de Tavira, the renovation of this sports space "comprises the dignification of other sports infrastructures, namely, Santo Estêvão and Conceição, which results in an investment of 138 thousand euros".

The 1st Meeting of Football Training Schools will feature the participation of athletes, born in 2012 and 2013, from the Tavira Gym Club, from the Casa do Benfica de Tavira and from the Academia-Sporting-Tavira School.

"This meeting aims to mark the World Day of Physical Activity and, consequently, promote the practice of sport among the population, as well as its benefits," explained the municipality.

Regular physical activity prevents excess weight and obesity, prevents the onset of diseases, reduces blood pressure, improves self-esteem, reduces stress and contributes to concentration and physical and psychological well-being.
