Lagoa will host the city's II Water Polo Tournament on the weekend of November 19th and 20th. The competition will take place at the Municipal Swimming Pools and will bring together around 80 young under-17 and under-19 athletes.
According to Câmara de Lagoa, which organizes the tournament in partnership with Lagoa Académico Clube, «this event aims to provide athletes with a greater competitive pace in the early stages of the sporting season and to promote the promotion and dissemination of the sport in the municipality and in the region. ».
In addition to Lagoa Académico Clube, teams from Portinado, Aminata de Évora and Algés will participate.
This tournament is open to the public.
