The Municipality of Tavira will promote, on the 4th of May, at 10:00 am, at the Álvaro de Campos Municipal Library, a first aid training action for companion animals, led by the Municipal Firefighters.
According to the municipality, this initiative aims to “train people so that they can act, if necessary, reducing the suffering of animals and increasing the probability of their survival”,
In this sense, topics such as basic animal life support, convulsive crises, immobilization of fractures and airway obstruction will be covered.
Registration is open, for all interested parties, until April 30th, and can be made at the Fire Station or via email: [email protected].
