The Municipality of Silves signed yesterday afternoon, April 22nd, the contracts included in the municipality's various support programs, in the Cultural, Social, Sports and Youth Associations area, which involve support of 508.023,88 euros.
Contracts were signed with around 80 institutions.
At the ceremony, Mayor Rosa Palma thanked and congratulated the institutions for the «extraordinary work they have been developing for the benefit of the population and the municipality», highlighting that they can «find in the Municipality a partner always available to support them in carrying out their dynamics and activities».
«In addition to the logistical resources provided by the municipality to the associative community, the total value allocated, through municipal support programs, has been increasing annually, a very positive factor in leveraging local associations, which is strengthened», reinforced the president.
The municipality's objective with this support is «to encourage the municipality's entities to improve their functioning and action with the population is the main objective of this initiative by the Municipality of Silves».
